Father's day

For the first father's day, I wanted to get Bill something sentimental.  Don't get me wrong, in the future I will likely get him something he wants and is all about him to thank him for the hard work. But, as of now, he hasn't had to do too much, so I insisted on getting him a sentimental present.

So, I bought Bill a book he could read the baby.  The book is Guess How Much I Love You, which is all about a parent's love for their child.  Inside the book, I wrote a letter to the lil lump about how lucky he/she is to have Bill for a dad.  This is what the letter said:

Congratulations, God has given you the best dad on the planet.  Even though you are not here yet, your dad loves you so much!

God must have big plans for you to give you the dad he did.  Let me tell you a few things about your dad.  he is so loyal; you should know that your dad will always be your biggest fan.  You dad is also very protective.  I will never have to worry about you knowing that your dad is taking care of both of us.  Your dad is also very fun.   I imagine that you will have the best memories of the things you guys will do together.  God has also given you a dad that  knows how to protect, support and encourage.  You are very lucky for this.

When I saw this book, I knew that it described perfectly how much your dad loves you!  I hope you never forget that.
